About this Financial Crisis...
I'm sure it is a complex mess of causes and solutions. I just have one question: if the banks are getting bailouts and the CEOs are getting golden parachutes, can I at least get a seat cushion that acts as a flotation device?

You planted your floatation device and installed it on a concrete pad...namely your garden and generator.
Think about this one: If they divided that $700 billion or whatever out to every american adult, pretax the financial crisis would be over. 30% would come back in taxes, every household could pay off their mortgage and the economy would be resuscitated by the spending with the monthly mortgage payment that is no longer due. Perhaps even a few banks would get some money to throw around if some got invested!
