About the flags on your car

Just a note to everyone with American flags on their cars: these colors may not run, but they do fade. If you feel the need to display your patriotism on your cars, please keep them in good repair. Flags flown from your windows get frayed, and dye bleaches out of bumper stickers, window signs, and yellow ribbons. Consider maintaining the outward show of your national pride.
