Typo

Corrected a typo in the previous entry. Usually my legions of fearless readers will point out my errors--well enough you should, too, given what I do. However, I just noticed that I had written "...insert in the turnkey..." Just another reason why not to trust spellcheckers.

You'll LOVE this Grooism, minor though it is. I sent my District Manager an email where I inquired whether a particular number was a "type". Yes, that's right, my typo was the word "typo" itself! Hmmm, better send this one off the The Groop, eh?

Hey, here's another one. My boss a few months ago sent a mass email to everyone in my office with the subject line intended to be "important message." Unfortunately, he left out the "r" in "important." Of course, the spell check didn't think anything was wrong with it. That just goes to show ya, kids: learn to check your own darn papers for spelling and grammar. Don't depend on on computers to do it for you. Otherwise next thing you know, you'll be telling an office of 40 of your subordinates that you have a message for them that comes with erectile dysfunction.
