All I intend to say about this article is that I am in no way surprised, just taking a little comfort that it is not unanimous yet.

I think that it can be argued that people who are fundamentaly against religion are as close minded to anything that they don't agree with as people who are fundamentally religious. That just seems to be my expierence here though... :)
Good point. That's broadly been my experience with a lot of people who are deeply committed to something, be it religion, non-religion, vegetarianism, Linux operating systems, or any number of things.
